Computer Basics
A gentle introductory course on how to use a mouse and keyboard, open and close a program, and navigate menus. No experience is necessary.
Beginners' Internet
Introduces basic web skills, and how to search. Designed for people with minimal computer skills.
Internet Follow-Up
For those who have completed the Beginners’ Internet course and want to learn how to use more complex websites.
Microsoft Word for Beginners
This class will introduce students to formatting in Microsoft Word through the completion of a small, one page project. Designed for people who have completed the Computer Basics for Beginners course.
Intermediate Microsoft Word
Learn a bit more about Microsoft Word by formatting a letter and a newsletter. Introduction to MS Word class or equivalent required.
Special Topics Computer Classes
Several times each year we offer a computer class that focuses on using the Library's resources. Changing topics include genealogy, social networking, e-books, Excel, consumer information, newspapers on the web, and using our research databases. These classes are posted on the Events calendar when they are offered.
